Our Molokai Hi Waist Tie Bottom lets you go with the flow in style. Made from recycled nylon and elastane, it’s soft and comfortable to wear. The high-rise style features a wide waistband with decorative tie, high-cut leg, and cheeky bottom coverage. Fully lined front and back, the leak-proof gusset has a high absorbency (up to 8 tampons), protecting you from leaks in – and out – of the water, even on those heavier days. For a resort-style look, pair it with our Molokai Plunge Tie Back Top and dive on in.

Made with our patented technology, our swimwear needs to sit snugly at the leg opening to ensure our two-layer leak-proof gusset can do its thing.
Layer one in the gusset consists of our unique textured fabric – lab tested to hold up to 40ml (8 tampons) without leaking.
Layer two is a waterproof barrier for extra peace of mind.
The fabric has excellent two-way stretch making it a comfortable fit for everybody.

Very bad return policy

I was very disappointed with my purchase as I could not return the item because I tried it. I did not like the bathing suit as it did not look good on me. The return policy is not communicated clearly on the website and it seems that this is done on purpose. Very disappointed in the brand and the handling of the situation from the team. Would never buy again a bathing suit as I think it is unacceptable not being able to try it before deciding to keep it. This is not underwear. Find a better way to ensure hygiene or communicate your policy more prominently if you don't want to be misleading your customers.

Our returns policy clearly states that returns are only accepted if the product is new, unused, and unopened—this is due to hygiene reasons. If these conditions are met, the customer may return the item within 21 days of purchase and choose either a replacement product or a full refund. The item was also on sale and this is also clearly stated on our site that sale items cannot be exchanged.

Care Guide

Step 1. Wash your Modibodi before wearing them for the first time. This will activate the technology in the gusset for maximum absorbency.

Step 2. Rinse in cold water after use <30° Do not soak, just rinse until the water runs clear!

Step 3. Cold wash (now or later) In a delicates bag is even better!

Step 4. Hang dry. Reuse. Repeat! Go you eco warrior!

Step 5. Hold the fabric softener. This reduces the product’s function!
